Area Referencing

As part of any new lease or rent review it is essential to have an accurate area measurement for the floor area that will ultimately be used to assess any rent rates. Any error with the calculations could result in a significant loss or overpayment to relevant parties

By using the latest in 3D laser scanning equipment, we have the ability to measure the entirety of the property, taking millions of measurements in a relatively short space of time. Following this, we are able to accurately map the internal walls and provide a detailed report. All of our reports are produced in accordance with The International Property Measurement Standard (IPMS) which is now mandatory for RICS and SCSI members.

Our detailed reports will include a breakdown of Gross External Area (GEA), Gross Internal Area (GIA) or Net Internal Area (NIA) for office, industrial, leisure, residential and other commercial buildings.

For retail premises, we are able to provide zoning and ‘In Terms of Zone A’ (ITZA) calculations.
